ACTIVSKATE
Activskate is a young company with a long history. Our journey began in 2005 with the establishment of the Victorian Skateboard Association Inc. (VSA).
The VSA is a not-for-profit organisation recognised by the Victorian State Government as the State Sporting Organisation for Skateboarding. For over 19 years we have been fostering, encouraging, and promoting the sport of skateboarding by partnering with local governments and community originations to deliver action sports programs and events.
In 2023, the VSA board initiated a review into maximizing participation in our sport. As a result, the board greenlit the establishment of a specialised consultancy, Activskate!

At Activskate, we believe in collaboration. We work closely with our partners, local community groups and our members to develop a set of social impact and participation measures that link your capital investment to the desired outcomes.
With over 19 years of action sports participation statistics, Activskate has the largest participation and member database within Australia.
ActivSkate envisions a world where all people can participate in skatepark-based activities in an inviting and inclusive way. Skateboarding, and skate-park based sports become one of the most popular activities for kids, families, and adults. We aim to achieve this by ensuring our partners have access to the best advice, insights and data when investing in, and designing skateparks
We work with communities, councils, and organisations to plan their facility infrastructure, and develop sport-participation plans. This key service offering helps to ensure skateboarding and skatepark-based activities are highly utilised, safe, and inviting. With ActivSkate, local skateparks are deemed to be well-respected and well-designed sport-participation facilities, that provide life-long recreational opportunities.
